Aims and Objectives
At the end of the course the operator will:
Be aware of the relevant health and safety regulations
Be aware of the needs regarding personal protection
Be aware of the need to refer to the machine operating manual
IPAF Certification Important - please note: All candidates who undertake IPAF training and pass will get their license and/or certification digitally through IPAF's new app, ePAL. In addition, the Co-ordinator of the booking will receive a digital copy.
The app is available on Apple iOS and Android apps (search ePAL). We request that delegates download this app to their smart phone ahead of the course.
Pre-Requisites
The renewal course must be taken before the original training expires. Candidates must also be able to provide for inspection, their log book with a minimum of 60 entries (10 of which must be in the final year prior to expiry) as proof of their continued machine use. If the operator licence has expired, the operator will have to attend the full 1 day operator course again (see IPAF Operator Training course description for further details).
In order to upgrade/renew a licence an operator must successfully complete the IPAF theory test. In addition to this an operator must achieve the required standard when operating each of the machine categories for which licence renewal/upgrade is required.
For the licence upgrade course, candidates must produce their current (and still in date) IPAF PAL card for inspection by our training instructor prior to course commencement.
Literacy and language comprehension are important requirements on all courses. Any physical impairment or literacy issues should be discussed with LTC Training Services prior to making a booking so we can best accommodate your needs.

You will need to bring proof of current IPAF Operator training (PAL card or certificate), and your log book with a minimum of 60 valid entries (10 of which must be within the last 12 months).
